Governance

Under our constitution QCC is governed by an Executive Committee elected by member organisations at the Annual General Meeting. The Executive’s primary role is the good governance of QCC, including developing and monitoring long term direction and goals. All executive members volunteer their time and are elected for a one-year term.

QCC’s volunteer executive committee work hard to uphold the principles of good governance. QCC has a number of sub-committees, made up of staff and executive team members, that provide oversight and good practice.

Structure of QCC sub-committees

QCC values transparency, accountability and good governance. We understand that to maintain the trust of our members, supporters and the community our organisation needs to operate with high standards of good governance. This ensures that our organisation is always acting with integrity, is lawful, responsible and that our work is aligned with our purpose.

QCC is a not-for-profit incorporated association under the Association Incorporations Act 1981(QLD) and a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).
